Out on the wards during roster planning, Matrons and nurses are guided by the system to ensure the most informed decisions on local resources, including redeployment of any staff surplus to fill shortages in nearby wards. In order to complete the most efficient roster, planned costs are presented against location cost budgets, including a tailorable headroom allowance to reflect local vacancy and long term sickness levels.
